Color Saturation and Its Effects on Usability

One of my biggest concerns with most applications these days is the poor use of color. Saturation is a big part of the problem and I think this article does a good job addressing the issues and explaining why having a bunch of over-saturated colors confuses the user and provides a bad experience in general.
